How to Play the 7-0 Game
Learning the 7-0 Game takes about thirty seconds. Here is everything you need to draw a squad, fill your formation and chase the perfect 7–0.
- Pick a formation (4-3-3, 4-4-2, 3-5-2 and more), a tactical style (Defensive, Balanced or Attacking) and a mode.
- Press ROLL to draw a random national team and a World Cup edition (2018, 2022 or 2026).
- Tap a player from the squad list — the positions they can fill light up on the pitch.
- Tap a highlighted slot to place the player. Out-of-position picks still play, but at a reduced rating.
- Use your three re-rolls to swap the team or the cup, or tap a filled slot to remove a player and rethink.
- When all eleven slots are filled, press Simulate to get your scoreline and chase the perfect 7–0.
Classic vs From Memory
Classic mode shows every player's rating while you build, so you can optimise your dream team pick by pick. From Memory mode hides ratings until the match is simulated and pits you against a tougher opponent — a real test for fans who think they know a nation's best eleven by heart.
Tips for a Perfect 7–0
Place every player in a position they genuinely play — a fit penalty quietly drops your rating and costs you goals. Match your style to your squad: a side stacked with wingers and strikers thrives on Attacking, while a back-five build leans Defensive. Use Auto-fill to see the engine's best lineup, then tweak it. And re-roll without guilt — finding the right nation and edition is half the fun.
